Companies are required to submit a company profile and valid B-BBEE certificate affidavit, company CIPC registration documents, CSD registration documents valid in the month of submission, valid tax clearance certificates or tax pin, VAT registration certificates, valid letter of good standing from the department of labour, proof of previous experience in the renewable energy sector with contactable references, MW size of such installations, and value of such installations, three years audited annual financial statements, proof of funds from a registered financial institution confirming that the company has a minimum balance of R50 million, recent municipal statement of account rates and taxes not older than 3 months for the company not in arrears for more than 90 days or a lease agreement with a recent invoice statement, complete authority to sign commercial documents, certified IDs of directors, completed mbd4: declarations of interest, completed mbd5: declaration for procurement above R 10 million, completed 6. 1: preference points claim in terms of the preferential procurement regulations 2022, completed mbd 8: declaration of bidders past supply chain management practices, completed mbd 9: certificate of independent bid determination, a complete technical offer, and a complete financial offer.
