Respondents are required to self-register on the National Treasury's Central Supplier Database (CSD). Respondents must be compliant with all applicable tax legislation for the entire contract term. Respondents must submit a valid letter of good standing from the Compensation Commission for Occupational Injuries and Disease Act (COIDA), a copy of the CIPC document showing the registered address of the entity within Richards Bay, a valid hazardous waste certificate of the tanker driver, a valid driver's license with professional driving permit (PRDP), proof of tanker ownership, a valid local municipality bill, a valid lease agreement, a letter from a local traditional council, three traceable references for provision and servicing of mobile portable flushable toilets, and a comprehensive business continuity plan. Respondents must complete and submit Annexure B (technical questionnaire). Transnet will utilize a weighted scoring methodology in selecting a preferred supplier. The validity period is 180 business days from the closing date. Transnet is required to publish the tendered prices of the successful and unsuccessful respondents on the national treasury etender publication portal. Respondents must disclose any commercial relationship with a domestic prominent influential person (DPIP) or foreign prominent public official (FPPO). All returnable documents must be signed, stamped, and dated by the respondent. The successful respondent will be required to ensure the validity of all returnable documents for the duration of the contract. Prices must be quoted in South African Rand, inclusive of VAT. The respondent is deemed to acknowledge that he/she has made himself/herself thoroughly familiar with all conditions governing this RFQ. Bidders must complete the specific goals points claim form. Transnet will award preference points to companies who provide valid proof of evidence of specific goals contribution. Bidders who claim points in respect of B-BBEE status level of contribution must complete the relevant section. Transnet reserves the right to conduct post-tender negotiations. Transnet reserves the right to award the business to the highest scoring bidder unless objective criteria justify the award to another bidder. Failure to provide or comply with any of the above particulars may render the bid invalid. Transnet reserves the right to cancel the contract and request that national treasury place the respondent on its database of restricted suppliers for a period not exceeding 10 years, on the basis that a contract was awarded on the strength of incorrect information furnished by the respondent or on any other basis recognised in law.
