This tender is for the provision of waste management services in the Lenyenye Waste Service Area for a period of 36 months. Stage 2 administrative requirements include company registration, ID copies, CSD registration, tax compliance status, municipal rates and taxes statement, lease agreement if applicable, permission to occupy land or letter from traditional authority, and venture agreement if applicable. A compulsory briefing session will be held on 21 April 2026. The closing date for submissions is 11 May 2026. Evaluation will be in two stages: functionality (relevant experience, key personnel, plant and equipment) and the 80/20 preference point scoring system. Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database. Late, incomplete, unsigned, faxed, or emailed bids will not be accepted.

The evaluation of the bid will be conducted in two stages: the first stage will be assessment on functionality, and bidders who obtain 70 points will be subjected to the 80/20 preference point scoring system, where 80 points will be allocated for price and 20 points based on specific goals.
Bidders must provide proof of relevant company work experience, key personnel experience and qualifications, proof of plant and equipment, audited 3 years annual financial statements, a valid permit to transport waste, a valid SHEQ ISO14001:2015 certification, public liability insurance of minimum R10 million, a valid letter of good standing, proof of ownership of vehicles, valid roadworthy certificates for trucks, valid membership of IWMSA, an occupational health and safety plan, attend the compulsory briefing session, and have equipment/vehicle inspection and a contingency plan.
An equipment/vehicle inspection on site will be conducted.
