The closing date for submissions is 10/07/2026.

The tenderer must provide a declaration with regard to company/firm information and certify that the points claimed are true and correct.

In the event of fraudulent claims or non-fulfillment of contract conditions, the organ of state may disqualify the person, recover costs, cancel the contract, or recommend restrictions from obtaining business from any organ of state for up to 10 years.

The organ of state may disqualify the tenderer if specific goals have been claimed or obtained on a fraudulent basis or if any conditions of contract have not been fulfilled.

A minimum 12-month workmanship warranty is required from the date of practical completion.

The contract will be awarded to the bidder with the highest total number of points under the 80/20 preference points system, unless other objective criteria allow.

Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) with active status, registered with the Construction Industry Board (CIDB) for general building works (GB) or specialist works (SF) for grade 2 or higher, and submit proof of public liability insurance of minimum R2,000,000.

A penalty of R1,**** per calendar day will be deducted for every day the installation exceeds the agreed-upon completion date, up to a maximum of 10% of the total contract value.

The Asezco reserves the right to request any additional information and/or samples of items quoted.

Failure to adhere to mandatory administrative and technical requirements, late or incomplete quotations, or obtaining information that could put the Asezco at risk may lead to disqualification.

The closing date for bid submissions is July 7, 2026, at 11:00.

Bidders must ensure compliance with their tax obligations and submit their unique personal identification number (PIN) issued by SARS. No bids will be considered from persons in the service of the state.

Failure to provide or comply with any of the particulars may render the bid invalid. Bids that are suspicious will be reported to the competition commission for investigation and possible imposition of administrative penalties.

Tenders must be placed in the tender box at the municipal offices situated at 26 Long Street, Bredasdorp, **** not later than 12:00 on Friday, 24 July 2026.

A nonrefundable fee of **** two hundred, eightysix rand and zero cents is payable for this tender. The fee must be paid by an electronic payment use company name and tender no. as reference.

Tenders will be evaluated according to the criteria and weight of the 80/20 procurement system.

Bidders must submit a valid tax compliance status pin, issued by the South African Revenue Services.

Tenders submitted by fax, email, or received after the closing time and date shall not be accepted.
