Rental Management Tenders

The service is required for a period of eight weeks (02 months).

Quotations will be evaluated on the 80/20 point scoring system. 80 points will be allocated to price and the remaining 20 points will be allocated for specific goals as per PPPFA 2022.

All suppliers responding to quotations should be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD). Bidders must submit a copy of a valid waste transportation certificate from the Gauteng Department of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment. Bidders must also submit a valid letter of good standing from the Department of Employment and Labour.

JW reserves its right to cancel the contract with immediate effect if the service provider contravenes any applicable City of Johannesburg's bylaws and environmental legislations.

A compulsory briefing session will be held on June 17, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Northern Wastewater Treatment Works.

Failure to include all applicable taxes on quotation will lead to disqualification. Quotations received after closing date and time will not be accepted. Quotations without brand names where required will not be accepted.

The New England Road Landfill site delivery is required within 1 day from the date of appointment.

Payment will be made by the chief financial officer within 30 days on receipt of a certificate of payment issued by the engineer.

The service provider must provide proof of ownership of the bulldozer plant by providing an invoice in the name of the company/director. Bidders must be registered on the CSD.

In the event of late delivery, penalties in the amount of **** per calendar day shall be levied.

Failure to comply with tender requirements, such as submitting a valid tax clearance certificate, completing all forms, or attending a compulsory briefing (if applicable), may result in disqualification.

The RFQ closes at 12:00 on 17 June 2026. Submissions must be deposited in the bid box at the Johannesburg Development Agency offices.

Submissions will be evaluated on compliance, price, and specific goals, with a 80/20 preference point system applied.

Bidders must be experienced and accredited service providers. They must also have a valid SARS tax pin compliant certificate and be registered with the National Treasury Central Supplier Database.

Unsuccessful bidders will have the opportunity to query the award within 14 working days of the publication of the successful bidder on the JDA website.

Bids may be disqualified for late submissions, failure to complete the tender offer page and pricing table, incorrect transfer of prices, submitting in pencil, faxed documents, or if any directors are in the service of the state or have municipal accounts owing more than 90 days.

Bids must be submitted by 11:00 on June 25, 2026. Late bids will not be accepted.

Payment will be made monthly within 30 days of receipt and approval of the original tax invoice, deposited directly into the successful bidder's bank account. No cash or cheque payments will be made.

The bid will be awarded based on an 80/20 preference points system, considering price and specific goals such as women ownership, disability ownership, youth ownership, location of enterprise, and BBBEE status level.

Bidders must be registered with the Transport Taxi Association and ensure their vehicles are roadworthy, in good condition, and fit for purpose. Drivers must possess valid driver's licenses and public driver permits (PDP).

If the supplier fails to deliver the service within the stipulated period, the department may deduct a penalty as described in paragraph 22 of the National Treasury General Conditions of Contract.

Failure to submit required documents, non-compliance with specifications, late bid submissions, or providing false information may lead to disqualification.
