Quotations will be evaluated and adjudicated in accordance with the swellendam municipalitys preferential procurement policy and its supply chain management policy. the **** system will be applicable.

Quotations may only be submitted on the prescribed documents and must include a valid tax compliance status pin as issued by sars.

Late quotations and quotations received by email or facsimile will not be considered.

The closing date for submissions is 7 August 2026, at 11:00 am. closing date and time 7 august 2026 at 11: 00 am no late submissions will be accepted.

The SABS will not make an upfront or advance payment. Payment will only be made according to the delivery of service or goods. the sabs will not make an upfront or advance payment to a successful bidder. payment will only be made in accordance to the delivery of service or goods that will be agreed upon by the sabs and the successful bidder.

The evaluation will be based on the 80/20 preference points system, considering price and specific goals. only bidders who meet the specified requirements will be evaluated further on **** preference points system of 2022.

Bidders must submit CSD registration, a valid BBBEE certificate, SBD 4 (Bidders Disclosure Form), and SBD 6. 1 (Preference Points Claim Form). Contacting other SABS personnel or canvassing may lead to disqualification. bibbers must not contact any other sabs personnel regarding this rfq, as it may lead to the bidders disqualification. also note that any canvassing by bidderssuppliers regarding this rfq will result in disqualification.

Bids must be deposited in the tender box situated at the reception: Civic Centre, 2 Kingfisher Road, Mandeni no later than 12:00, on Friday, 3rd of July 2026.

The Mandeni Municipality does not bind itself to accepting the lowest bid, either wholly or in part or give any reason for such action.

Only bidders who are registered with CIDB in a contractor grading of 1SH or higher will be eligible to bid. Only bidders registered on Central Supply Database (CSD) will be considered.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representatives of the employer will take place at the Tugela Community Hall, Mandeni on Wednesday, 17 June 2026, starting at 12:00 thereafter proceeding to the site.

Failure to attend the compulsory clarification meeting with the bid document will disqualify the tender. Bidders that do not bring the document to the briefing will be disqualified.
