The bid documents are to be submitted by the following dates: May 20, 2026, May 21, 2026, and May 22, 2026.

A compulsory site visit is required on 22 April 2026 at 10:00 am at Kliprivier Station. Bidders are required to attend the mandatory briefing onsite briefing session at Kliprivier station and must complete and sign the official attendance register during the session.

The RFQ is for requirements up to R500 000.

Companies or directors on the National Treasury register of restricted suppliers will be disqualified. Tax compliance status with SARS is mandatory.

The General Conditions of Contract mention that if the supplier fails to deliver or perform services within the specified periods, the purchaser may deduct a penalty from the contract price, calculated on the delivered price of the delayed goods or unperformed services. Termination for default is also a possibility.

A compulsory briefing session is scheduled for 28 April 2026 at 11:00 am at the Road Accident Fund Head Office. Attendance at this session is mandatory, and bidders who do not attend will be disqualified.
