Responses should be submitted via email by 24 July 2026 at 11:00 am. o late submissions will be accepted.

The SABS will not make an upfront or advance payment. Payment will only be made in accordance to the delivery of service or goods that will be agreed upon by the SABS and the successful bidder.

The evaluation will be based on the 80/20 preference points system. only bidders who meet the specified requirements will be evaluated further on **** preference points system of 2022.

Mandatory requirements include CIDB grading 1 SK, valid COIDA, 3 certified contactable reference letters not older than 3 years, and a company profile indicating 3 years of experience in road marking.

The contractor shall submit a documented health and safety plan as stipulated in regulation 5 of the construction regulations, a declaration to the effect that he has the competence and necessary resources to carry out the work safely in compliance with the construction regulations ****, and a declaration to the effect that he made provision in this tender for the cost of the health and safety measures envisaged in the construction regulations.

For every tree protected by these specifications, which is removed or, in the opinion of the engineer, is unduly damaged by the contractor, the contractor shall pay a penalty of ****,00 for every tree to the employer.

Failure to submit the required health and safety documentation with the tender will lead to the conclusion that the contractor will not be able to carry out the work under the contract safely in accordance with the construction regulations.
