Suppliers are requested to offer their earliest delivery period possible. Delivery will be affected within the specified working days from the date of order.

PRASA pays for the item within 30 days of receipt of the supplier's correct tax invoice.

The supplier warrants that the items are in accordance with PRASA's requirements and fit for the purpose for which they are intended, and will remain free from defects for a period of one year unless another period is stated in the order from acceptance of the items by PRASA.

PRASA will utilise a price and specific goals evaluation criteria, with a weighting of 80% for price and 20% for specific goals.

Bidders must submit a company registration document, copies of directors' ID documents, a valid tax clearance certificate, a CSD supplier registration number, and proof of bank account. Joint venture agreements are required if applicable.

Late deliveries or late completion of items may be subject to a penalty if imposed in the order contract.

Failure to provide mandatory returnable documents, non-compliance with tax obligations, not being registered on the CSD, or submitting incomplete bids can lead to disqualification.

Proposals must be deposited in the quotation box on or before Thursday, 11 June 2026, by 12:00 PM. o late quotation offers will be accepted under any circumstances.

Payments will be made upon satisfactory delivery of the required service. all payments due to creditors will be settled within 30 days from receipt of a proper invoice or, in the case of civil claims, from the date of settlement or court judgment.

The quotation document will be evaluated using responsiveness criteria, functionality if applicable and 80/20 of the PPPFA with its 2022 regulations. The municipality reserves the right not to accept the lowest or any quotation.

Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD). Compulsory returnable documents include the official quotation document, MBDs, CSD report, valid tax clearance certificate, and certified ID/passport of directors. Failure to submit a CSD supplier registration number will result in the disqualification of proposals.

Failure to submit required documents, late submissions, incomplete proposals, or not being tax compliant may result in disqualification. Failure to complete these documents may result in your quotation being invalid.

The delivery and setup for the supplied items are to commence on the 25th of June 2026, starting at 9:00 AM. Dismantling and pick-up are scheduled for the 28th of June 2026, between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM.

Payment will be made by the Chief Financial Officer within 30 days on receipt of a certificate of payment issued by the engineer, and will be made by means of a cheque drawn upon the council's bankers in Pietermaritzburg. No cash payments shall be made.

The tender shall be evaluated using an 80/20 preference point system as prescribed in terms of the Preferential Procurement Regulations 2022.

Tenderers are required to be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD). For electrical works, registration with the Electrical Contractors Board (ECB) is required. For plumbing works, registration with the Institute of Plumbing South Africa (IPSA) or any other relevant authority is required.

In the event of late delivery, penalties in the amount of **** per calendar day shall be levied. Such monies shall be deducted from any monies due to the contractor.

Failure to comply with certain sections may prejudice the tender. Tenders will not be considered from tenderers who do not attend the compulsory site inspection/tender briefing meeting and whose site inspection/tender briefing certificate has not been commissioned by the authorised official. Failure to submit a valid tax clearance certificate and a tax compliance status verification pin may result in no award.
