The bid will be evaluated using an 80/20 point system, considering price and ATNS specific goals. The applicable preference point system will be determined based on the value of the lowest acceptable tender.
Prospective bidders must meet administrative requirements, including valid tax pin status, registration on the national treasury central supplier database (CSD), and CIPC registration documents. They must also submit completed and signed SBD forms (SBD 1, 3. 3, 4, 6. 1). Failure to meet these requirements may result in bid rejection.
If the supplier fails to deliver within the specified periods, the purchaser may deduct from the contract price, as a penalty, a sum calculated on the delivered price of the delayed goods or unperformed services using the current prime interest rate calculated for each day of the delay.
