Provision of professional services for the recalculation of development charges (DCs) unit costs for engineering services and the revision of the DCs policy. The contract period ends on 30 June 2029. Bids close on 03 August 2026 at 12:00. Tender documents are available for free download from www. ***. *. * or for a fee of **** must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD). The tender will be evaluated using an 80/20 preference points system, with 80 points for price, 10 for B-BBEE status, and 10 for locality. Late, electronic, telephonic, or faxed tenders will not be considered. Tenders must be submitted in a sealed envelope in the tender box at the Stellenbosch Municipality offices.
Bids must be submitted by 12:00 on 03 August 2026.
Payments shall be made by the purchaser no later than thirty 30 days after submission of an invoice, statement or claim by the supplier.
The supplier warrants that the goods supplied under the contract are new, unused, of the most recent or current models, and that they incorporate all recent improvements in design and materials. This warranty shall remain valid for twelve 12 months after the goods have been delivered to and accepted at the final destination.
The bid will be evaluated and adjudicated according to: relevant specifications, value for money, capability to execute the contract, and PPPFA associated regulations.
Tenderers must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD). No award will be made to tenderers whose tax status is non-compliant.
Subject to GCC clause 25, if the supplier fails to deliver any or all of the goods or to perform the services within the periods specified in the contract, the purchaser shall, without prejudice to its other remedies under the contract, deduct from the contract price, as a penalty, a sum calculated on the delivered price of the delayed goods or unperformed services using the current prime interest rate calculated for each day of the delay until actual delivery or performance.
Failure to comply with conditions such as being registered on the CSD, having a compliant tax status, submitting in a sealed envelope, and depositing in the correct tender box before closing time may result in disqualification.
