The bid closing date is 24th April 2026 at 11:00 AM. The contract duration for the successful bidder will be three years.

The award criterion is based on a 80/20 preference points scoring system, with points allocated for price (80 points) and specific goals (20 points). Specific goals include points for black people, women, youth, disabled people, military veterans, rural township, and business.

Bidders must be tax compliant and registered on the National Treasury's Central Supplier Database. They must also meet minimum eligibility criteria for functionality, with at least 70 points out of 100 awarded for functionality. This includes demonstrating capability and capacity of key personnel, a sound methodology, a proven track record of at least five years in providing printing services, and locality within the Limpopo province.

A site inspection phase is included in the evaluation process to verify the existence and capacity of the company and the availability of office space, computers, staff, and high-volume printing machines. Failure to have one of the listed items will eliminate the bidder.

The service provider will be required to submit a final sample with approved content for sign-off prior to mass printing.

The bid notice states that WHAG will select partners based on alignment with its mandate, feasibility, and the potential to enrich the visitor experience.

The goods or service are required by September 5, 2025 and delivered to D. F. Malan street, Foreshore, Cape Town.

The 80/20 price preference point system will be applied to the evaluation of responsive quotations, whereby the orders will be placed within the suppliers scoring in the highest total number of adjudication points.

Suppliers must be Cape Town based in case of returns or incorrect equipment. The following documents needs to be submitted with quotations: B-BBEE certificate, sworn affidavit, SARS no and SARS status pin, accreditations with the relevant regulatory bodies, audited financial statements.

The RFQ is for goods or services below five hundred thousand rand (R500 ****).

Bids must be delivered by 12h00 on September 3, 2025 to the correct address. Late bids will not be accepted.

The supplier warrants that the goods supplied under the contract are new, unused, of the most recent or current models and that they incorporate all recent improvements in design and materials unless provided otherwise in the contract. The supplier further warrants that all goods supplied under this contract shall have no defect, arising from design, materials, or workmanship except when the design andor material is required by JCTs specifications or from any act or mission of the supplier, that may develop under normal use of the supplied goods in the conditions prevailing in the country of final destination. This warranty shall remain valid twelve 12 months after the goods, or any portion thereof as the case may be, have been delivered to and accepted at the final destination indicated in the contract.

Bidders will be evaluated based on the information as contained in their submissions, and this may be further supplemented by presentations and clarification information as may be requested from the bidders. Evaluations will as far as possible be based on evaluation templates prepared by Joburg Theatres evaluation committees prior to opening of submissions. The criteria set out in the document shall be applicable and may not be altered after the submissions have been opened unless it is clear that such alterations will not disadvantage any bidder or give an unfair advantage.

If the supplier fails to deliver any or all of the goods or to perform the services within the periods specified in the contract, JCT shall, without prejudice to its other remedies under the contract, deduct from the contract price, as a penalty, a sum calculated on the delivered price of the delayed goods or unperformed services using the current prime interest rate calculated for each day of the delay until actual delivery or performance.
