Payment is monthly in arrears. The contractor submits a tax invoice by the 20th of each month, and the municipality pays within 30 days from submission. Bidders must have a Class V process controller classification, minimum CIDB registration of 4ME, and ISO **** certification. Key personnel require specific qualifications and experience, as stated: must be classified as a class v process controller in terms of schedule 3 of regulation **** of june 2023 and the bidder must have a minimum cidb registration of 4me.

Penalties apply for noncompliance with performance guarantees as per Appendix B. The municipality may deduct penalties from remuneration or recover from the performance bond. As stated: the municipality may, without prejudice to any other method of recovery, deduct the amount of such penalty from any remuneration due to the contractor.

Failure to comply with material obligations, failure to maintain performance bond or insurance, or change of control without consent constitute events of default. As stated: failure of the contractor to comply with any material obligation or provision of this agreement and remain in default or fail to remedy such breach within 7 seven business days of receipt of written notice.
