Business Interruption Tenders

The closing date for submission of proposals is August 31, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Bidders must ensure that bids are delivered timeously to the correct address. As a rule, if a bid is late or delivered to the incorrect address, it will not be accepted for consideration.

The tender will be evaluated in three phases: 1. Administrative compliance. 2. Functionality. 3. Price and specific goals.

Bidders must submit proof of registration on the National Treasury's Central Supplier Database (CSD). Bidders must also ensure compliance with their tax obligations and provide their unique personal identification number (PIN) issued by SARS. Failure to provide or comply with any of the above particulars may render the bid invalid.

A compulsory briefing session will be held on August 13, 2026, at 10:00 AM via Microsoft Teams.

Tenderers will be disqualified if the entity or any of its directors is listed on the register of bid defaulters. Late or incomplete bids, failure to conform to the rules or requirements contained in the tender document, proof of collusion among bidders, and noncompliance with applicable law may also result in disqualification.

The contract will be valid for a period of twelve 12 months.

Payment will be made in accordance with section 381f and 764b of the pfma and treasury regulations **** 8. 2. 3 within 30 days from receipt of invoice after completion of deliverables.

Qualifying bids are ranked on price and specific goals points claimed in the following manner: i price with the lowest priced bid receiving the highest price score as set out in the preferential procurement regulations 2022. ii preference preference points are allocated in accordance with the preferential procurement policy framework act act 5 of **** and its regulations 2022 as claimed in the specific goals claim form sbd 6. 1 are added to the price ranking scores.
