The Mine Health and Safety Council (MHSC) is inviting bids for the provision and implementation of an audiovisual solution at their new building. The scope of work includes the supply, installation, configuration, and commissioning of various audiovisual systems such as video conferencing systems, display screens, and auditorium installations. Bidders must provide warranty support and training for MHSC personnel. The tender closes on June 17, 2026. Mandatory requirements include registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and tax compliance. Bidders must submit a technical proposal and a separate pricing proposal. The evaluation process will include functionality, pricing, and specific goals.
The successful bidder will be expected to complete the project within four weeks from the date agreed upon with the principal contractor and the client.
Payment will be made within 30 days from receipt of invoice after completion of deliverables.
The bidder must provide warrantee support for the AV and multimedia solutions after commissioning as per the OEM specifications.
The evaluation process will be conducted in various stages: Stage 1: Functionality evaluation. Stage 2: Pricing and specific goals evaluation.
Bidders must achieve 70% in the functionality evaluation stage for their bid to progress to the next stage of evaluation.
Subject to GCC clause 25, if the supplier fails to deliver any or all of the goods or to perform the services within the periods specified in the contract, the purchaser shall, without prejudice to its other remedies under the contract, deduct from the contract price, as a penalty, a sum calculated on the delivered price of the delayed goods or unperformed services using the current prime interest rate calculated for each day of the delay until actual delivery or performance.
