The GCIS is willing to pay specific rates for chauffeur services, which include VAT and constitute the full tariff claimable. Rates will be adjusted annually from 01 April in line with the national inflation rate. Government departments are required to pay creditors within 30 days of receipt of an accurate invoice.
The bid evaluation process will be a three-phased process consisting of prequalification criteria (Gate 0), functional evaluation criteria (Gate 1), and specific RDP goals (Gate 2). The evaluation will be based on the 80/20 preference points system, where 80 points are for predetermined rates and 20 points are for specific goals.

Continuous failure to execute transport services on short notice after being appointed will lead to prospective suppliers being excluded for the duration of the bid period. Biannual performance reviews may lead to disqualification of underperforming suppliers.
