The bid is for the appointment of a service provider for calibration of equipment and issuance of calibration certificates at Kruger National Park for three years. Bids must be submitted by January 21, 2025, at 11:00 AM. The contract period is for three years. The bid is subject to the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act and other relevant regulations. Queries must be submitted in writing to the contact person listed in the document. No clarification questions will be attended to or responded to if received within 120 hours (5 days) prior to the closing date of the tender. The tender proposal must remain valid for at least 150 days after the tender due date. All contributions prices indicated in the proposal and other recurrent costs must remain valid for the period of one hundred and twenty 120 days after closing date.

The purchaser undertakes to make payment for the services rendered in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract, within 30 thirty days after receipt of an invoice.
The supplier warrants that the goods supplied under the contract are new, unused, of the most recent or current models and those they incorporate all recent improvements in design and materials unless provided otherwise in the contract. The supplier further warrants that all goods supplied under this contract shall have no defect, arising from design, materials, or workmanship except when the design andor material is required by the purchasers specifications or from any act or omission of the supplier, that may develop under normal use of the supplied goods in the conditions prevailing in the country of final destination.
The bid will be evaluated in three phases: mandatory evaluation, technical/functional evaluation, and price and specific goals evaluation.
Bidders are required to be registered on the central supplier database csd of national treasury. Failure to submit the requested information may lead to disqualification.
If the supplier fails to deliver any or all of the goods or to perform the services within the periods specified in the contract, the purchaser shall, without prejudice to its other remedies under the contract, deduct from the contract price, as a penalty, a sum calculated on the delivered price of the delayed goods or unperformed services using the current prime interest rate calculated for each day of the delay until actual delivery or performance.
