Subscriptions Tenders

The bid closing date is 28 April 2026 at 16:00.

Quotations will be evaluated on the 80/20 point scoring system, with 80 points allocated to price and the remaining 20 points allocated for specific goals as per PPPFA 2022.

All suppliers responding to quotations should be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD). Quotations must be on company letterheads. Quotations received after closing date and time will not be accepted. Quotations without brand names where required will not be accepted. Total quotation value must include all applicable taxes. Submit a copy of a valid BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit. Ensure that all attached MBDs are duly completed and signed. Submit a copy of valid lease agreement or municipal account statement not older than 3 months and not in arrears for more than 90 days. Acceptance of a quotation will be subject to Johannesburg Water's Supply Chain Policy.

The bid closing date is 21 May 2026, with proposals to be submitted by 12:00 PM.

The tender will be evaluated based on a combination of price and preference points, with a 80/20 system applied for tenders up to R50 million.

Bidders must be registered on the National Central Supplier Database (CSD) and have valid tax compliance status. Specific technical and experience requirements are detailed in the tender document.

A non-compulsory clarification meeting will take place on 22 April 2026 via MS Teams.

Unsuccessful bidders will have the opportunity to query the award or decision within fourteen (14) calendar days from the day of notification.

The bid documents must be deposited into the tender box at 3rd floor, st. andrews building, somerset links office park, de beers avenue, somerset west. The bid box will only be available from Mondays to Fridays, 08h00 to 17h00. Tender documents received after the closing date and time will not be accepted, regardless of the method used to send or deliver such documents. The last date and time of submission of bids is not explicitly stated as a delivery deadline for the service itself, but rather for the bid submission.

The adjudication criteria are based on the 80/20 preference point system, with 80 points for price evaluation and 20 points for B-BBEE evaluation. The total points for price and specific goals is 100.
