The SABC's standard payment terms are 60 days from the date of invoice.

If bidders purport to withdraw their bids within the period for which they have agreed that their bid shall remain open for acceptance, or fails to enter into a written contract when called upon to do so, or fails to accept an order in terms of the bid, the SABC may, without prejudice to any other legal remedy which it may have, recover from the defaulting bidders any additional expense it has incurred.

The closing time for clarification of queries is 3 three days before the deadline for bid proposal submission.

Service providers must submit a CSD report with supplier number and company details, tax status verification pin, detailed pricing structure, a valid BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, signed RFQ document, CSD registration summary report with a tax status pin, CIDB grade 1 GB or higher, a letter of good standing from the department of labour, a compliant safety file, and valid insurance.
