The City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality is inviting bids for security services at various sites, including substations and reservoirs, for a period of 3 years. Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD). The closing date for submissions is March 2, 2026. A compulsory briefing session will be held on February 13, 2026. The validity period for the tender after closure is 90 days. The city reserves the right to award the tender to more than one bidder. The service provider must present a monthly written report on the services rendered. The service provider will be required to attend monthly meetings as needed.

The purchaser undertakes to make payment for the services rendered in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract, within 30 thirty days after receipt of an invoice.
The supplier warrants that the goods supplied under the contract are new, unused, of the most recent or current models, and that they incorporate all recent improvements in design and materials unless provided otherwise in the contract. The supplier further warrants that all goods supplied under this contract shall have no defect, arising from design, materials, or workmanship except when the design andor material is required by the purchasers specifications or from any act or omission of the supplier, that may develop under normal use of the supplied goods in the conditions prevailing in the country of final destination.
The city of tshwane reserves the right to award this tender to more than one bidder.
Only bidders registered on the central supplier database csd and with a csdnumber will be considered for this tender, as this is a requirement from the nationaltreasury.
Noncompliance detected through such routine inspections will result in a penalty being levied against the service provider and such a penalty could range from monetary value to the reduction in work allocated and or the termination of the service.
A compulsory briefing session will be held on 13 february 2026 at 10:00 at the main hall, tshwane metro police department headquarters, cnr eskia mphahlele drive and dr wf nkomo street, pretoria west.
