The tender is for the provision of fresh flowers and vases for Joburg City Theatres. The closing date for submissions is November 27, 2025, at 12:00. MBD forms and a supplier registration form must be attached to the proposal. The quotation must be signed, and the MBD 4, 6. 1, 8, and 9 forms must be completed and submitted. A certified copy of the BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit is required. The original tax clearance certificate is required. The rates and taxes invoice for the company and directors must be provided. Samples of certain items are requested. The supplier warrants that the goods supplied are new and of the most recent models. The supplier must have a local office in the Gauteng region. Penalties may be imposed for delays. The contractor agrees that the occupational use of JCT's premises and buildings shall be at his own risk.
The bid notice states that the delivery of the goods and performance of services shall be made by the supplier in accordance with the time schedule prescribed by JCT in the contract.
Payments shall be made promptly by the purchaser, but in no case later than thirty 30 days after submission of statement by the supplier.
The supplier warrants that the goods supplied under the contract are new, unused, of the most recent or current models and that they incorporate all recent improvements in design and materials unless provided otherwise in the contract.
The successful bidder will be required to fill in and sign a written contract form MBD7.
Joburg City Theatres will not award the rfq to any firm that cannot provide proof to substantiate its successful completion of a minimum of 3 projects of similar size and nature.
If the supplier fails to deliver any or all of the goods or to perform the services within the periods specified in the contract, JCT shall, without prejudice to its other remedies under the contract, deduct from the contract price, as a penalty, a sum calculated on the delivered price of the delayed goods or unperformed services using the current prime interest rate calculated for each day of the delay until actual delivery or performance.

Service provider will be requested to bring samples on the following items: 1 pink spray, 1 yellow spray, 1 purple spray pink wrapping paper greens, 1 pink carnation, 1 red carnations mixed floral bouquet, 1 yellow carnations, 1 mini cerise gerbera, 1 mini orange gerbera, 1 mini yellow gerbera daisies orange and purple sprays, arranged in brown stems craft paper accompanied by seasonal greenery pink carnations, nestled between seasonal stems carnations greenery and angles breathe.
