Roof Inspection Tenders

The closing date and time for receipt of quotations is 01 April 2026 at 11h00 am.

The method and conditions of payment to be made to the supplier under this contract shall be specified in SCC. Payments shall be made promptly by the purchaser, but in no case later than thirty 30 days after submission of an invoice or claim by the supplier.

The supplier warrants that the goods supplied under the contract are new, unused, of the most recent or current models, and that they incorporate all recent improvements in design and materials. This warranty shall remain valid for twelve 12 months after the goods have been delivered and accepted at the final destination.

The bid will be evaluated in four stages, with the successful bidder typically being the one that scores the highest number of points on price and specific goals, unless the NNRC exercises its right to cancel the tender or finds valid reasons to justify an award to a company that did not obtain the highest score.

Bidders must be registered with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) with a contractor grading designation of 3SL or higher. They must also be tax compliant and registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD).

Subject to GCC clause 25, if the supplier fails to deliver any or all of the goods or to perform the services within the periods specified in the contract, the purchaser shall, without prejudice to its other remedies under the contract, deduct from the contract price, as a penalty, a sum calculated on the delivered price of the delayed goods or unperformed services.

Bidders are encouraged to inspect and examine the site and its surroundings before submitting their tender.

The bid notice states “Quotations above r30 000 will be evaluated on the basis of the 80: 20 pointsystem as stipulated in the preferential procurement policy framework actact number 5 of **** jpcs supply chain management policies andprocedures. ”

The bid notice states “Quotations from bidders on the jpc panel of quantity surveyors disqualification criteria **** will be accepted nonattendance of the compulsory briefing session valid tax compliant verification pin number issued by sars. ”

The bid notice states “date: 24 february 2026 tuesdays compulsory briefing time: 10h00am session venue: jpc offices 33 hoofd street, braampark, forum 1 block a, braamfontein ekhaya boardroom. ”

The supplier must deliver all supplies within the required turnaround time from date of approval.

A minimum 5-year warranty is required for material and workmanship.

Bidders will be evaluated based on the information as contained in their submissions, and this maybe further supplemented by presentations and clarification information as may be requested from the bidders.

Bidders should provide cidb grade 3sn or higher.

If the supplier fails to deliver any or all of the goods or to perform theservices within the periods specified in the contract, jct shall, without prejudice to its otherremedies under the contract, deduct from the contract price, as a penalty, a sum calculated on thedelivered price of the delayed goods or unperformed services using the current prime interest ratecalculated for each day of the delay until actual delivery or performance.

A compulsory briefing session will be held at the joburg theatre, 163 civic boulevard, braamfontein.

Request clarification of the tender documents, if necessary, by notifying the jct at least five 5 working days before the closing date stated in the tender data.
