Cost Tenders

Bids must be submitted by 12:00 on 03 August 2026.

Payments shall be made by the purchaser no later than thirty 30 days after submission of an invoice, statement or claim by the supplier.

The supplier warrants that the goods supplied under the contract are new, unused, of the most recent or current models, and that they incorporate all recent improvements in design and materials. This warranty shall remain valid for twelve 12 months after the goods have been delivered to and accepted at the final destination.

The bid will be evaluated and adjudicated according to: relevant specifications, value for money, capability to execute the contract, and PPPFA associated regulations.

Tenderers must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD). No award will be made to tenderers whose tax status is non-compliant.

Subject to GCC clause 25, if the supplier fails to deliver any or all of the goods or to perform the services within the periods specified in the contract, the purchaser shall, without prejudice to its other remedies under the contract, deduct from the contract price, as a penalty, a sum calculated on the delivered price of the delayed goods or unperformed services using the current prime interest rate calculated for each day of the delay until actual delivery or performance.

Failure to comply with conditions such as being registered on the CSD, having a compliant tax status, submitting in a sealed envelope, and depositing in the correct tender box before closing time may result in disqualification.

The lead time for delivery is 30 days from the closing date of the bid.

Payment will be made within 30 days of receipt of the approved invoice according to an agreed payment schedule, against key deliverables provided professional level quality standards have been met.

The evaluation will be based on administrative compliance, mandatory compliance, and preference points, with a focus on price and specific goals.

Bidders must be registered with CIDB as MESystem, grade 1 and above, and provide proof of experience in similar work or mechanical works completion with at least one reference letter.

A compulsory briefing session will be held on 09 July 2026 at 11:00 AM at 67 Korranna Avenue, Doringkloof, Centurion.

Bid documents must not be included in packages containing samples; such bids may be rejected as being invalid.

Failure to provide or comply with particulars such as tax compliance status or CSD number may render the bid invalid. Alterations not initialed may lead to disqualification. Use of correcting fluid is prohibited.

Responses to this RFQ must be submitted before the closing date and time indicated on the cover page of the RFQ, which is 07 July 2026 at 11:00 am.

Unless stated otherwise in this RFQ or as mutually agreed upon by both parties prior to award of the RFQ, all payments due to creditors for goods delivered services rendered will be settled within thirty (30) days from receipt of an invoice.

The RFQ will be awarded to the bidder scoring the highest points, subject to section 21f of the preferential procurement policy framework act, **** act no 5 of ****.

Bidders must be registered on the CSD database and provide their CSD registration number. They must also submit a completed and signed Annexure A and SBD 3. 3. If points are claimed, a valid BBBEE certificate, sworn affidavit, or SBD 6. 1 preference points claim form with relevant supporting documentation is required. SARS tax matters must be in order.

A due diligence site visit will be carried out at the premises of the service provider before the awarding of the tender. The saws might also conduct a site visit to the office.

Failure to submit required documentation, including a completed Annexure A and SBD 3. 3, or if tax matters are not in order, may result in disqualification. Any effort to influence the award decision may also lead to rejection.

The RFQ is for requirements up to R500 000.
