The Pan South African Language Board (Pansalb) is seeking a qualified service provider to offer internal audit services for a period of 12 months. The service provider will be responsible for implementing a rolling strategic internal audit plan, assisting in operational improvements, and conducting various types of audits including operational, financial, compliance, performance, governance, and IT audits. Forensic investigations and ad-hoc audit tasks are also included. Bids will be evaluated based on a combination of price and B-BBEE status level, using an 80/20 preference point system. Mandatory requirements include completed SBD forms, certified B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, CSD report, SAICA/IRBA registration proof, and professional body membership for engagement directors and staff. Technical proposals will be assessed on technical approach, experience, and qualifications of resources. Quotations must be emailed to reach Pansalb no later than 11:00 AM on Friday, 07 August 2026.
The Pansalb undertakes to pay valid tax invoices in full within thirty (30) days from statement date for services rendered.
RFQs with a quoted price less than R30,**** will be evaluated based on the quoted price. All other RFQs will be evaluated based on an 80/20 preference point system where 80 points are allocated towards price, and 20 points are allocated towards the suppliers contributions specific goals.
Mandatory requirements include completion of all SBD forms, certified copy of B-BBEE or sworn affidavit, National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) report, SAICA/IRBA registration proof, and engagement directors' membership with a professional body (IIA, IRBA, or SAICA).
