The bid is for waterproofing repairs at Joburg City Theatres. A compulsory briefing session will be held on February 17, 2026. Bidders must submit their proposals in a sealed envelope by February 27, 2026, at 12:00 PM. A 5-year warranty is required. The work must conform to applicable SANS standards and local building codes. The contractor must provide a comprehensive safety file. The bid will be evaluated in a two-stage process: administrative requirements and functionality. The successful applicant will be hired for a once-off period. The supplier must deliver all supplies within the required turnaround time from the date of approval. The tender rates shall be taken to be firm and the supplier shall not be entitled to any price variation or escalation.

If the supplier fails to deliver any or all of the goods or to perform theservices within the periods specified in the contract, jct shall, without prejudice to its otherremedies under the contract, deduct from the contract price, as a penalty, a sum calculated on thedelivered price of the delayed goods or unperformed services using the current prime interest ratecalculated for each day of the delay until actual delivery or performance.
