The evaluation criteria will be based on compliance, specifications stipulated in this bid documents and pricing.

The bidder should be able to demonstrate registration with the Institute of Internal Auditors of South Africa (IIA SA), be in practice or engaged in public practice, have a good track record and reputation with at least 3 written references, and have a minimum of five years of experience in conducting internal audits in the public service.

Proposals will be disqualified or not considered under the following conditions: Submission after the deadline, proposals submitted at incorrect location or email address, bidders who are not registered on the CSD, bidders whose tax matters are not in good standing, failure to provide company registration documents, failure to provide proof of registration with IIA SA, failure to submit completed and signed SBD documents, bidders who have served as ASSAF internal auditors for five consecutive years in the past ten years, bidders whose appointment was terminated, and bidders with less than five years of auditing experience in the public sector.
