Service providers are invited to submit quotations for the planning, coordination, management, and implementation of the Bergrivier Jazz Festival scheduled for October 3, 2026, in Velddrif. Quotations must be submitted in sealed envelopes to the municipal offices at 13 Church Street, Piketberg, before 12:00 on Thursday, September 17, 2026. Bids must be valid for 120 days. Evaluation uses an 80/20 points system, with 80 points for price and 20 for specific participation goals (BBEE, locality). Suppliers must be registered on the CSD and submit required documentation, including tax compliance status and BBEE certificates. The successful provider will be the one scoring the highest points.
Quotations must be deposited in the tender box at the municipal offices, 13 church street, piketberg before 12: 00 on thursday, 17 september 2026, when quotations will be opened in public.
I undertake to make payment for the goodsworks delivered in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract, within 30 thirty days after receipt of an invoice accompanied by the delivery note.
The supplier warrants that all goods supplied under this contract must have no defect, arising from design, materials, or workmanship except when the design and/or material is required by the purchasers specifications or from any act or omission of the supplier, that may develop under normal use of the supplied goods in the conditions prevailing in the country of final destination.
The successful provider will be the one scoring the highest points in the event of the lowest bid being higher than R30 ****.
Bidders must demonstrate proven experience in organising and managing major public events and must be registered as a prospective supplier on national treasury's central supplier database csd.
Bids addressed to any municipal official in hisher personal capacity will not be considered and will immediately be disqualified.
