This tender is for the supply and delivery of quechers consumables for the laboratory used for testing of pesticides to the PPPCB laboratory in Centurion. The appointed supplier will enter into a three-year contract with an option to renew for two years. Bidders must comply with all requirements. Submissions can be made physically to the PPPCB head office tender box or electronically via Microsoft OneDrive. Queries must be submitted via email no later than ten days before the closing date. The tender evaluation process includes administrative compliance, mandatory criteria, functional technical evaluation, due diligence/sample testing, price and preference evaluation, and objective criteria. Bidders must provide industry accreditation certificates and meet a minimum functional threshold. Sample analysis testing is a mandatory stage. The bid will be evaluated using the 80/20 preference point system. Payment terms are 30 days from invoice date. Subcontracting is not applicable.
The closing date for bid submissions is 24 June 2026, with a closing time of 16:30. Bids must be delivered by the stipulated time to the correct address; late bids will not be accepted for consideration.
The PPPCB shall pay the appointed bidder in accordance with the contract signed, with payment terms being 30 days from the invoice date.
The supplier undertakes to deliver goods and services that are free from defects and guarantees the goods and services delivered to be as specified in this order and to the complete satisfaction of the PPPCB for a period of not less than twelve 12 months from the date of delivery.

If the supplier fails to deliver the goods and/or services on or before the delivery date, and fails to notify the PPPCB of any delays, or then fails to deliver as per the new agreed date, then the PPPCB reserves the right to cancel the order entirely or partially, and recover any loss or damages suffered.
Sample analysis testing is a mandatory stage in the evaluation process. Points will be allocated for each sample submitted and for each sample successfully tested.
Any queries relating to the tender documents must be sent no later than ten 10 days before the closing date of tender. No questions will be responded to after the deadline for submission of questions.
Noncompliance with tender instructions, failure to submit required documentation, failure to meet the minimum functional threshold, failure to score higher than individual subminimum points per criteria, and failure to respond to clarification requests within stipulated timeframes may lead to disqualification.
