The bid notice states that the delivery time or date stated in the purchase order shall be regarded as fixed and the supplier shall adhere strictly thereto. Rand Water reserves the right to cancel any order issued if delivery is not made as agreed and the supplier will not be entitled to any cancellation fees.

The bid documents must be deposited in the box situated at the CIDB Head Office, **** Gordon Hood Road, Centurion, Pretoria, South Africa, by the closing date of 24 April 2026, at 11:00 AM.

Payment of undisputed amounts will be effected by the CIDB within 30 days from the date of receipt of a valid tax invoice, provided the CIDB is satisfied that the services have been rendered and the invoice is accurate and complete. The employer will not be paying any default interest on late accounts.

The tender will be evaluated in four stages: mandatory requirements, administrative requirements, functionality, and price and preferential procurement, with an 80/20 preference point system applied. Bidders must obtain a minimum of 70% for functionality to be considered.

Bidders must be registered with the CIDB in terms of the grading designation of 2GB or higher. They must also be registered on the National Treasury's Central Supplier Database and submit a valid letter of good standing with COIDA.

The tender document mentions that failure to comply with certain requirements may lead to disqualification and potential restriction from conducting business with the public sector for up to 10 years.

A non-compulsory briefing meeting will be held on 18 April 2026 at 11:00 AM at the CIDB offices. Tenderers must sign the attendance list.
