The Msunduzi Municipality is inviting tenders for the supply, installation, and maintenance of cloud-hosted PBX telephony services for 36 months. A compulsory tender briefing meeting will be held on February 12, 2026. Tenders must be submitted in hard copy and on a CD/USB flash drive by March 4, 2026, at 12:00. The tender evaluation will be based on a two-stage system: functionality and an 80/20 preference point system. A valid tax clearance certificate and CSD registration are required. Penalties of **** per day will be imposed for late deliveries. The contract period is 36 months from the date of award. A 12-month guarantee on workmanship is required. The 80/20 preference point system will be used. A demonstration of the proposed solution will be required. A service level agreement will be entered into with the successful bidder.
The goods are to be delivered to the information, communications and technology unit, 2nd floor, a s chetty, 333 church street, pietermaritzburg, within 14 days from date of receiving an official purchase order.
The 12 months guarantee on workmanship from the date of project completion.

Any service provider aggrieved by decisions or actions taken by the municipality must lodge within fourteen 14 calendar days of the date of the decision or action, a written objection or complaint to the municipal manager supply chain management.
