Request for quotation for the supply and delivery of lubricating oil, journal bearing oil, crater, and electrical cleaner on a once-off basis to PRASA in East London. Bids must be submitted by 19 June 2026, 12:00 PM. Late bids will not be accepted. All bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD). The evaluation will be based on price (80%) and specific goals (20%).
Quotations must reach PRASA before the closing hour on the date shown on SBD1. Delivery will be affected within the earliest delivery period offered by the supplier, or within working days from the date of order.
PRASA pays for the item within 30 days of receipt of the supplier's correct tax invoice.
The supplier warrants that the items are in accordance with PRASA's requirements and fit for the purpose for which they are intended, and will remain free from defects for a period of one year unless another period is stated in the order from acceptance of the items by PRASA.
PRASA will utilise a price and specific goals evaluation criteria, with price weighted at 80% and specific goals at 20%. PRASA reserves the right to award business to the highest scoring bidders unless objective criteria justify the award to another respondent.
Bidders must ensure compliance with their tax obligations and submit their unique personal identification number (PIN) issued by SARS. Bidders must also be registered on the National Treasury's Central Supplier Database (CSD).
Late deliveries or late completion of the items may be subject to a penalty if this is imposed in the order contract.

Failure to provide or comply with any of the particulars required in the bid document may render the bid invalid. Incomplete bids will be disqualified. Bids submitted after the stated submission deadline or at the incorrect venue will be rejected.
