The bid must be delivered by the stipulated time to the correct address. Late bids will not be accepted for consideration. Bids must be submitted to Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency, N4 National Road, Halls Gateway, Mbombela ****, for the attention of the Senior Manager Supply Management, Office of the CFO, N4 National Road, Halls Gateway, Mataffin Nelspruit on the 12th of March 2026 before 11h00 am.

The bidder that receives the highest overall score will be appointed the preferred bidder. The functionality of a bid is scored out of 100 points, and a bidder must score 70 or more for functionality or the bid will be disqualified. Price is evaluated with 80 points and preference points with 20 points.

Bidders are required to meet the following qualification criteria: financial capacity with an asset value of at least R5,000,000, hospitality and tourism experience with a minimum of 5 years in operating similar activities and 2 years in the tourism industry, exceptional knowledge and expertise pertaining to safety and emergency standards, and a safety plan, risk plan, and SHEQ plan.

For further site due diligence, bidders may also book their own site visits through Ms Zandile Mkhatshwa on ***@***. *. * and ***@***. *. * between the 09 March to 30 April 2026.

The bid notice indicates that the purchaser will undertake to make payment for the services rendered in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract, within 30 days after receipt of an invoice.

The bid response documents must be deposited in the bid box by the stipulated time on 11 May 2026 at 12:00 PM. Late bids will not be accepted for consideration.

This bid will be evaluated in two stages: mandatory and administrative requirements, and then price and specific goals. The 80/20 preference point system will be applied.

Bidders must submit a fully completed and signed Invitation to Bid (SBD 1), Bidders Disclosure (SBD 4), Preference Points Claim Form (SBD 6. 1), valid accreditation certificate with the relevant SETA/QCTO, valid accreditation certificate of the assessor, valid accreditation certificate of the moderator, proof of Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration, and a valid tax compliance letter with a unique PIN.

There will be no compulsory briefing session for this bid.
