Suppliers must use the provided RFQ form, including VAT per item, and quotations must be on company letterhead with correct banking details. Quotations received after the closing date and time will not be accepted. For quotations up to R50,000,000, the 80/20 preference point system applies (80 points for price, 20 for specific goals). Preference points are awarded for black, women, and disability ownership (more than 50%). Bidders must submit a complete and signed SBD 6. 1 form, medical certificate (for disability claims), and a SANAS-accredited BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit. The successful service provider will be responsible for supplying and delivering meat to the SANAP warehouse in Cape Town, complying with various acts (South African Foodstuffs, Cosmetics and Disinfectants Act, Health Act, Meat Safety Act, SA Trade Metrology Act, ISO **** certification, Halal certification). All meat products must conform to current SABS standards, be of high quality, and allow for quality control inspection. Halaal products are required, but outsourcing for non-Halaal products is accepted if the outsourced supplier meets the bid conditions. The service provider must submit a valid quotation on their letterhead, reflecting descriptions, validity, banking details, contact details, and CSD/MAAA number. No goods/services should be delivered before an official order. Delivery timelines and quotation expiry dates must be indicated. The Department reserves the right to request additional information and to negotiate prices with preferred tenderers. The quotation must include all delivery costs and applicable taxes. Delivery must take place within 10 working days after receiving a complete order, with penalties for non-compliance. Deliveries must be made during DFFE working hours (07:30-16:00). A fully updated stock list must be submitted upon delivery. The appropriate cold chain must be maintained.
