The Thembelihle Local Municipality is inviting quotations for the renting of yellow fleet for a period of 5 days (3 days in Hopetown and 2 days in Strydenburg). Quotations must be submitted on original documents and remain valid for 90 days. Fully completed quotation documents must be placed in a sealed envelope and submitted in the tender box at the Thembelihle Local Municipal Offices, corner Mark and Church Streets, Hopetown, or mailed to Private Bag X3, Hopetown, ****, by the closing date and time: 03 June 2026 at 12:00. Late quotations will not be accepted. Quotations will be evaluated on the 80/20 preference points system, with specific goals for contracting with historically disadvantaged individuals (20 points). Bidders must be registered on the CSD. Failure to provide required documents will lead to automatic disqualification. Required documents include: fully completed bid document with MBD forms, certified company registration documents, BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, municipal accounts for directors and the company, and proof of bidders being 18 years or older. The municipality reserves the right to withdraw, readvertise, or reject any tender, and does not bind itself to accepting the lowest tender or the bidder scoring the highest points.
