Ramotshere Moiloa Local Municipality - Agency Bids & RFPs

The bid offers must be submitted in a sealed envelope properly marked in terms of the bid number and bid description, at the offices of the municipality situated at ground floor Ramotshere Moiloa Local Municipality Cnr. Coetzee and President Streets Zeerust, on or before 11:00 on Thursday 16 April 2026.

The bid notice states that bidders must have the ability to facilitate vendor support and warranty claims and provide confirmation that the license supplied is genuine, valid, and supported by the OEM.

Bidders are required to have a minimum of 3 years of experience in network security solutions, provide at least 3 contactable references for similar firewall licensing or security solutions projects, and have proven experience in the supply, renewal, and support of firewall licenses. Additionally, at least one certified technician with relevant certification such as WatchGuard Certified System Professional (WCSP) or equivalent, or a relevant network security certification like Cisco CCNA Security or CompTIA Security is required.

The bid will be evaluated in accordance with the preferential procurement policy framework act (PPPFA), using the 80/20 split. The assessment of functionality will be done in terms of the evaluation criteria and the minimum threshold value of 70 points.

The service provider must be a company with personnel who have recognized qualifications in economics, development studies, development planning, investment and capital raising, strategic planning or business administration, statistics with relevant experience in local economic development. The service provider must be underpinned by a highly skilled and qualified team of professional development economists, supplemented with up-to-date economic analytic techniques, qualitative and quantitative assessments, and robust methodologies.

A compulsory site inspection and bid briefing meeting with representatives of the municipality will not be held.
