The contract is for the refurbishment of passenger loading bridges at OR Tambo International Airport. The contractor must provide a first program within 2 weeks of the contract date and revised programs every 2 weeks. The completion date for the whole works is April 30, 2027. The contractor must submit a quality plan within 2 weeks of the contract date. Payment is assessed monthly, and payments are made within 5 weeks. The contractor is responsible for the correct setting out of the works. The employer provides insurances, and the contractor provides additional insurances. The contractor's liability is limited as per the contract terms.

Bids are invited for transport services for the Samwa Games 2025. Bidders must submit bids on the official forms provided by the municipality, not retyped or online. The bid is subject to the preferential procurement policy framework act, the preferential procurement regulations, 2017, the general conditions of contract, and any other special conditions of contract. Bidders must comply with tax obligations and submit their PIN. Foreign suppliers must complete a pre-award questionnaire. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with the bid number and description, to the municipality's bid box on or before 15 August 2025 at 12h00. The lowest or any bidder will not necessarily be accepted. The municipality reserves the right to consider any other bid not suitably endorsed or comprehensively completed, as well as the right to accept a bid in whole or in part. Bids will be evaluated on an 80/20 points basis, with 80 points allocated to price and 20 points allocated to preferential points (locality and BBBEE). Bidders must provide proof of locality and BBBEE status level contributor certificate.
