Joint ventures or consortiums are acceptable for managing outsourced requirements. Meat items must have a minimum shelf life of 14 months. Supplies must be from state-approved abattoirs and prepared in compliant factories. Quality management systems like ISO **** are required. Premises must comply with hygiene and health standards. Deliveries must be made during DFFE working hours (07:30-16:00) unless otherwise arranged. The service provider must provide manpower during delivery and ensure care to avoid contamination. Non-compliant items must be replaced within 48 hours. Detailed invoices are required for services rendered. Packaging must be food-grade, with specific labelling requirements. Transit, delivery, storage, and handling must maintain a cold chain. Frozen meat must be at -18°C or lower. Transportation must be in a refrigerated vehicle. Rejection of consignment will occur if the product's core temperature exceeds -18°C upon receipt. SBD4 (Bidders Disclosure) and SBD6. 1 (Preference Points Claim Form) must be completed and submitted.
