The Mkhondo Local Municipality may impose penalties, including contract cancellation and financial penalties, if a preference is obtained fraudulently or if specified goals are not met. he mkhondo local municipality will if upon investigation it is found that a preference in terms of the act and these regulations has been obtained on a fraudulent basis, or any specified goals are not attained in the performance of the contract, on discretion of the municipal manager, one or more of the following penalties will be imposed:
