This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) from the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA) for the provision of SHE Rep Training Services. The training must align with SAQA Unit Standard ID **** are required to submit mandatory documents, including proof of accreditation, completed pricing schedule, and reference letters. Tax compliance and CSD registration are also mandatory. The evaluation will be based on mandatory requirements, technical/functional requirements, price (80%), and specific goals (20%). Specific goals include BBBEE level and ownership by people in rural areas. Bids must be submitted by 12:00 on 29 May 2026. Late bids will not be accepted.
The bid response documents must be hand-delivered to Umjantshi House, 30 Wolmaraans, Braamfontein, Johannesburg on or before the closing date of 29 May 2026, by 12:00 PM.
PRASA pays for the item within 30 days of receipt of the supplier's correct tax invoice.
The supplier warrants that the items are in accordance with PRASA's requirements, fit for the purpose for which they are intended, and will remain free from defects for a period of one year unless another period is stated in the order from acceptance of the items by PRASA.
PRASA will utilise a combination of mandatory requirements, technical/functional requirements, price (80%), and specific goals (20%) in choosing a supplier. PRASA reserves the right to award business to the highest scoring bidders unless objective criteria justify the award to another bidder.
Bidders must submit valid proof of accreditation in accordance with SAQA Unit Standard ID ****, valid proof of accreditation with the relevant SETA for assessor, facilitator, and moderator, complete the pricing schedule, and submit three signed reference letters confirming completion of the company's SHE Rep training within the past three years.
Late deliveries or late completion of items may be subject to a penalty if this is imposed in the order contract.

Failure to provide mandatory returnable documents at the closing date and time will result in disqualification. Bidders are warned that a response will be liable for disqualification should any attempt be made to canvass any SCM officers or PRASA employee in respect of this RFQ.
