The SLA must be finalised within 14 calendar days after the award of the contract. The issued documents must be returned in the form and order in which they were issued. The taxes of the successful bidder must be in order, or satisfactory arrangements have been made with SARS to meet the bidder's tax obligations. Each party in a consortium or joint venture must submit a separate tax clearance certificate. The original tax clearance certificate must be submitted with the bid. Bidders must complete a declaration of interest questionnaire. A certificate of independent bid determination (MBd 9) must be completed and submitted with the bid.
