Screening Tenders

Submissions must be made on the etender portal by 23 July 2026 at 16:00. Quotations received after the closing date and time will not be accepted.

Quotations will be evaluated on the 80/20 point scoring system. 80 points will be allocated to price and the remaining 20 points will be allocated for specific goals as per PPPFA 2022.

All suppliers responding to quotations should be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD). Mandatory criteria include the completion of the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and submission of proof of at least one completed project for the supply and delivery of MCC or control panels, with a completion certificate or reference letter.

There is no compulsory briefing session venue.

Failure to include all applicable taxes on quotation will lead to disqualification. Quotations received after closing date and time will not be accepted. Quotations without brand names where required will not be accepted.

Submissions must be deposited in the official tender box or emailed by 31 July 2026 at 11:00. Closing date: 31 july 2026 time: 11h00 late submissions will not be accepted.

Submissions will be evaluated for administrative compliance and functionality. a minimum score of 70 out of 100 points for functionality is required for inclusionon the panel.

Applicants must submit proof of HPCSA registration and valid practice number, occupational medicine qualification and/or relevant occupational health experience, CSD registration and valid tax compliance status, professional indemnity insurance, company profile and pricing schedule, and company registration where applicable. Proposals must be submitted no later than 12:00 on 11 August 2026.

Payments shall be made promptly by the purchaser, but in no case later than thirty 30 days after submission of an invoice or claim by the supplier.

The supplier warrants that the goods supplied under the contract are new, unused, of the most recent or current models, and that they incorporate all recent improvements in design and materials. This warranty shall remain valid for twelve 12 months after the goods have been delivered and accepted.

Tenders will be evaluated on functionality criteria (previous experience and capacity/expertise) and then the 80/20 preference points system, with 80 points for price and 20 points for specific goals.

The occupational health medical testing practitioner must possess MBChB with an additional qualification in occupational health and a valid registration certificate from the Medical Health Professions Council (HPCSA).

Failure to complete required goods and/or services by the due completion date may result in the deduction of a penalty calculated on the delivered price of the delayed goods or unperformed services.

Bidders scoring less than 70 points out of 100 for functionality will be disqualified. Late, faxed, or emailed bids will not be considered. Failure to provide required documentation or meet eligibility criteria may also lead to disqualification.
