This tender is for the provision of onsite waste management services at Foskor Mining Division Phalaborwa for a period of three years. Services include servicing of skip bins using contractor-owned roll-on roll-off skip trucks. A compulsory pre-proposal site meeting and briefing will be held on 11th June 2026. Bidders must submit their bids by 23 June 2026, 12:00 PM, including a USB flash drive with a soft copy of the submission. Tax compliance status and CSD registration are mandatory. The evaluation will be based on administrative responsiveness, substantive responsiveness, technical criteria (minimum 70%), price (80%), and BBBEE status (20%).
The bid must be submitted by 23 June 2026, 12:00 PM. Late bids will not be accepted.
The service provider shall compile a single monthly invoice for all bins serviced, which will be submitted for verification and approval before payment.
The award will be based on a combination of technical criteria (minimum 70%), price (80%), and BBBEE status level of contribution (20%).
Bidders must be registered waste transporters, provide proof of registration, and meet minimum technical and functional criteria, including team competency, operational capability, company experience, and a waste management plan.
A penalty of 1% will be deducted for each 5 days late on agreed delivery dates where applicable. Non-compliance with material terms may result in contract cancellation.
A compulsory pre-proposal site meeting and briefing will be conducted on 11th June 2026, at 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at the Foskor Phalaborwa mine, Security Induction Hall.
All unsuccessful bidders have a right to request reasons for their bid not being successful. This request must be directed to the contact person stated in the SBD 1 form.
Failure to attend the compulsory RFP briefing will lead to disqualification. Late bids will not be accepted. Failure to provide mandatory documents or comply with tax compliance requirements may render the bid invalid.
