The tender is for the appointment of a panel of professionals to curate exhibitions, workshops, and festivals for Joburg City Theatres. Bidders must attend a compulsory briefing on August 25, 2025, at 10:00 at Joburg Theatre. Sealed bids must be deposited in the tender box at Joburg Theatre by September 3, 2025, at 12:00. The successful bidder will be required to sign a written contract. The tender is subject to a two-stage evaluation process. The panel appointment is valid for 36 months. The service provider must be a single legal entity. The tender document must be completed in black ink pen and not retyped. The tender price shall be open for acceptance for a period of at least 90 calendar days after the closing date of the tender. All prices must include VAT. All prices must be net with all discounts and settlement discount already deducted. All prices must include cost of supply, transport of personnel, delivery and offloading if applicable. All prices must include cost of all labour, equipment, delivery of labour to site, materials etc. and without any extra or additional charges to Joburg City Theatres whatsoever. The tenderer must provide proof of its entity's registration documentation, current and valid SARS tax pin and VAT registration certificate, a national treasury centralised supplier database (CSD) registration summary report, a valid certified copy of B-BBEE certificate, proof of utility bill or lease agreement, rates and taxes invoice for all the directors, current annual audited financials, a letter of good standing from the compensation fund, certified copies of South African identity documents or valid passports of members, directors or owner copy with original stamp, and valid professional indemnity insurance R1m minimum. Detailed brochures of all services offered shall be presented together with this bid documents or company profiles. The successful applicant will be hired for a period not exceeding 36 months, subject to review based on performance. Joburg City Theatres reserves the right to conduct post-tender negotiations with a shortlist of respondents.

The supplier warrants that the goods supplied under the contract are new, unused, of the most recent or current models and that they incorporate all recent improvements in design and materials unless provided otherwise in the contract. The supplier further warrants that all goods supplied under this contract shall have no defect, arising from design, materials, or workmanship except when the design andor material is required by JCT's specifications or from any act or mission of the supplier, that may develop under normal use of the supplied goods in the conditions prevailing in the country of final destination. This warranty shall remain valid twelve 12 months after the goods, or any portion thereof as the case may be, have been delivered to and accepted at the final destination indicated in the contract.
