The installed equipment must come with a 2-year (24 months) warranty.
Subject to section 21F of the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act, **** (Act No 5 of ****), the RFQ will be awarded to the bidder scoring the highest points.
Bidders must be registered with PSIRA and attend the compulsory briefing session. They must also provide a valid PSIRA certificate and a letter of good standing from PSIRA and the Department of Labour (COIDA).
A compulsory on-site briefing session will be held on 09 April 2026 at 10:30 at the South African Weather Service George Weather Office. The South African Weather Service also reserves the right to conduct supplier due diligence, which may include site visits, prior to final award or at any time during the contract period.
