For ex-stock items, the period of delivery must not exceed five (5) maximum working days after receipt of order. If this condition is not adhered to, the order could be cancelled.

Payments will be made thirty (30) days after receipt of invoice by council.

Quotations will be evaluated in terms of preferential procurement regulations, 2022, preferential procurement policy of council. The 80/20 preference point system will be used, with 80 points for price and 20 points for specific goals (SMME development and locality).

Bidders must register on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) to upload mandatory information. Proof of CSD registration report must be attached. Copies of company registration must be submitted. Bidders must ensure compliance with their tax obligations and submit their unique personal identification number (PIN) issued by SARS.

A bid not complying with the requirements stated will be regarded as not being an acceptable bid, and as such will be rejected. This includes late bids, incomplete declarations, and failure to submit required documents like tax PIN and CSD registration.

Suppliers are requested to offer their earliest delivery period possible. Delivery will be effected within . working days from date of order.

Prasa pays for the item within 30 days of receipt of the suppliers correct tax invoice.

The supplier warrants that the items are in accordance with Prasa's requirements, and fit for the purpose for which they are intended, and will remain free from defects for a period of one year unless another period is stated in the order from acceptance of the items by Prasa.

Bidders must ensure compliance with their tax obligations and submit their unique personal identification number (PIN) issued by SARS. Bidders are required to self-register on National Treasury's Central Supplier Database (CSD).

Late deliveries or late completion of the items may be subject to a penalty if this is imposed in the order contract.

Failure to provide or comply with any of the particulars may render the bid invalid. Incomplete bids will be disqualified. Bidders are warned that a response will be liable for disqualification should any attempt be made either directly or indirectly to canvass any SCM officers or PRASA employee.
