Corporate Event Tenders

The closing date for submission of proposals is August 31, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Bidders must ensure that bids are delivered timeously to the correct address. As a rule, if a bid is late or delivered to the incorrect address, it will not be accepted for consideration.

The tender will be evaluated in three phases: 1. Administrative compliance. 2. Functionality. 3. Price and specific goals.

Bidders must submit proof of registration on the National Treasury's Central Supplier Database (CSD). Bidders must also ensure compliance with their tax obligations and provide their unique personal identification number (PIN) issued by SARS. Failure to provide or comply with any of the above particulars may render the bid invalid.

A compulsory briefing session will be held on August 13, 2026, at 10:00 AM via Microsoft Teams.

Tenderers will be disqualified if the entity or any of its directors is listed on the register of bid defaulters. Late or incomplete bids, failure to conform to the rules or requirements contained in the tender document, proof of collusion among bidders, and noncompliance with applicable law may also result in disqualification.

Payment in respect of services rendered and the applicable principles will be fully detailed in the Service Level Agreement.

The supplier warrants that the goods supplied under the contract are new, unused, of the most recent or current models, and that they incorporate all recent improvements in design and materials unless provided otherwise in the contract. The supplier further warrants that all goods supplied under this contract shall have no defect, arising from design, materials, or workmanship except when the design and/or material is required by the purchaser's specifications or from any act or omission of the supplier, that may develop under normal use of the supplied goods in the conditions prevailing in the country of final destination.

This tender will be evaluated on the 80/20 preferential procurement policy framework pppfa 2022 regulations. The evaluation criteria will be based on the functionalities as well.

Bidders must score a minimum of 70 to be considered for further evaluation.

Penalties will be applied for failure to comply with the conditions attached to this bid and service level agreement. These penalties are more fully described in the service level agreement.

The steering committee may conduct a site inspection with the service provider prior to an event.

Failure to fill all MBDs as attached in the tender document will invalidate a bid document and as such a bidder will be disqualified.
