A valid tax compliance status must accompany the bid documents. Bids will be opened in public after the closing date. The successful bidder will be expected to sign the contract form part 1 of this bid document within 120 days of the date of notification by the jb marks local municipality that hisher bid has been accepted.
The bid must be put in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with the bid number, title as well as closing date and time and placed in the tender box at the jb marks local municipality by not later than 12h00 on ****.

The provider warrants that the goods supplied under the contract are new, unused, of the most recent or current models, and that they incorporate all recent improvements in design and materials unless provided otherwise in the contract.
Bids will be evaluated in terms of their responsiveness to the bid specifications and requirements as well as such additional criteria as set out in the bid documents.

If the provider fails to deliver any or all of the goods or to perform the services within the periods specified in the contract, the purchaser shall, without prejudice to its other remedies under the contract, deduct from the contract price, as a penalty, a sum calculated on the delivered price of the delayed goods or unperformed services using the current prime interest rate calculated for each day of the delay until actual delivery or performance.
