This tender is for the provision of printing services for Lilitha College of Nursing for a period of 36 months. Services include printing college curriculum, lecture registers, midwifery registers, study guides, workbooks, textbooks, exam books, certificates, and programs for college events. Bids must be submitted online via the etender portal. A compulsory virtual bid briefing will be held on 01 April 2026 at 11:00. The closing date for submissions is 14 April 2026 at 11:00. The evaluation criteria include administrative compliance, mandatory non-negotiable requirements, in loco inspection, and price and specific goals (80/20 preference point system). A pre-production sample will be requested from recommended bidders before bulk printing. The department reserves the right to provide artwork. Bidders are required to visit the nearest campus for viewing of samples.
The successful bidders will be requested to deliver the goods within 30 days from receipt of an official order.
Prices shall be firm for the first 12 months of the contract, with increases in the 2nd and 3rd year based on CPI. Payment of any consideration in terms of the contract shall not constitute acceptance of any defective or non-conforming services.
The warranty period is twelve 12 months after the goods have been delivered and accepted, or for eighteen 18 months after the date of shipment, whichever period concludes earlier.
The bid will be awarded to the highest point scoring bidder based on the 80/20 preference point system, considering price and specific goals.
Bidders must attend the compulsory bid briefing, provide proof of technical capability and resources, demonstrate experience in relevant work, and submit proof of financial capacity.
If the supplier fails to deliver any or all of the goods or to perform the services within the specified periods, the purchaser shall deduct from the contract price, as a penalty, a sum calculated on the delivered price of the delayed goods or unperformed services.
