The Luthuli Museum invites quotations for the supply and delivery of price giveaway items for the Inkosi Albert Luthuli Oral History Competition. Submissions must be a soft copy and returned by 14 August 2026 at 10h00. Items must have a specified hardware warranty and be in original packaging. Evaluation is based on an 80/20 preference point system. Delivery must be on or before 29 August 2026.
The price giveaway items are to be delivered at the museum on or before 29 August 2026.
Payments shall be made promptly by the purchaser, but in no case later than thirty 30 days after submission of an invoice or claim by the supplier.
The price giveaway items must have a warranty on the hardware, and the duration of the warranty must be specified on the quotation.
Evaluation of the quotations received is based on the **** preference point system as per pfma regulation of 2022.
Mandatory criteria include a SARS tax pin, BBBEE affidavit certificate, recent CSD full registration report, CIPC registration documents, company directors certified ID copy, proof of business address, public liability insurance, and standard bidding documents.
If the supplier fails to deliver any or all of the goods or to perform the services within the periods specified in the contract, the purchaser shall, without prejudice to its other remedies under the contract, deduct from the contract price, as a penalty, a sum calculated on the delivered price of the delayed goods or unperformed services using the current prime interest rate calculated for each day of the delay until actual delivery or performance.
Bidders that do not meet the set mandatory criteria will be eliminated from further evaluation process.
