The official closing time for submission of bids is 11:00 AM on 24 August 2026.

Payments shall be made promptly by the purchaser, but in no case later than thirty 30 days after submission of an invoice accompanied by the delivery note.

The provider warrants that the goods supplied under the contract are new, unused, of the most recent or current models, and that they incorporate all recent improvements in design and materials. This warranty shall remain valid for twelve 12 months after goods have been delivered and accepted.

The municipality will adjudicate and award bids in accordance with the 80/20 point system, where 80 points will be allocated for price and 20 points for special goals.

All bidders must be registered on the national treasury central supplier database. Bidders must also submit certified copies of IDs, proof of municipal rates, and a valid letter of good standing.

If the provider fails to deliver any or all of the goods or to perform the services within the periods specified in the contract, the purchaser shall deduct from the contract price, as a penalty, a sum calculated on the delivered price of the delayed goods or unperformed services using the current prime interest rate calculated for each day of the delay.

Persons aggrieved by decisions or actions taken in the appointment of this tender may lodge within 14 days of the decision or action, a written objection or complaint.

Failure to complete MBD forms, use of tippex, not initializing or signing all pages, and not attaching required documents will result in disqualification.
